Allegra Chajinsi Gaza
I’m a PhD candidate at Deakin University, currently conducting research in bowel cancer with a focus on the cytological analysis of colon cancer cells. My project aims to develop a novel, non-invasive screening tool to improve early detection of bowel cancer through cell-based analysis. I’m passionate about translational research, student advocacy, and science communication. I also serve as the president of the Medical Research Student Association (MRSA), where I lead initiatives to support the academic, social, and professional development of medical research students.
